History -
Grove Point Outfitters is owned and operated by
Eastern Shore Native - Richie Lindsay. Richie has
over 20 years of experience in the field and a true
passion for hunting.  
Richie began hunting in the early 80s and 90s with
his father and brother building the foundation for his
passion. He experienced hunting throughout
Maryland's Eastern Shore and expanded his hunting
up and down the east coast in pursuit of game.
In the mid 90s Richie began his career as
professional waterfowl guide. During the next 4 years,
Richie thrived as a professional guide for outfitters
located in MD, DE and NY.
In 2008, Richie took his depth of knowledge and
started his own outfitting service, Grove Point
Outfitters.
Grove Point Outfitters offers hunting like no other.
Richie's love of the sport, years of experience and
duty to satisfy his clients shines through again and
again.
Whether you choose waterfowl hunting,, trophy deer

Waterfowling:

Locations-
We have over 15 properties leased primarily in Kent
County, MD. These farms offer some of the best
hunting found on MD's Eastern Shore. Waterfowl
hunting locations include ponds, off-shore blinds,
shore blinds, pit blinds and field blinds. We spend
countless hours preparing and scouting to ensure that
your hunt will be as successful as possible.

What to Expect-
Included in your hunt is a Waterfowl hunt on private
property for your party, guided by a fully licensed
professional and experienced guide, all decoys and
blind.

Seasons
We hunt from the following seasons-
September Teal, October Wood Duck, November
Duck (including Puddle ducks and diver ducks)
November Canada Goose and Late Migratory Season
that includes Canada Geese, Snow Geese and Ducks.

Waterfowl seasons are announced in September. For

What We Use-
Decoys-10doz. Big Foot, 14doz. RealGeese, 70 sets
field V-boards, 7doz GreenHeadGear FFDs, 10doz
GreenHeadGear field Mallards, 5doz RealMallards,
12doz GHG & E. Allen Blue Bills, 25doz floating
mallards, red heads, widgeons, canvasbacks,
buffleheads, gadwalls and pintails, 70 sets floating
Canada V-boards, 30 sets floating Brant V-boards, 5
doz GHG Canada Floaters.
Whitetail Deer Hunting:

Locations-
We have over 15 properties leased primarily in Kent
County, MD. These farms offer some of the best
hunting found on MD's Eastern Shore. Locations
include wooded area, field area and food
plots of clover &/or standing corn. We also utilize bait
piles and feeders to increase your chances for
success.

Stands:
Grove Point Outfitters uses mostly ladder stands and
hang-on's. We also use ground blinds and climbing
stands if you prefer. Each stand is strategically placed
based on scouting, trail cameras and deer movement.
We spend countless hours scouting to ensure that our
stand locations are in the best place.

What to Expect:
Included in your hunt is a guided whitetail deer hunt,
guided by a professional guide or guides, on privately
lease trophy managed property.

Trophy management-
Grove Point Outfitters adheres to trophy management
guidelines. A Trophy Buck is one that meets the
following criteria of a mature buck:  8 points or more,
antlers out past the ears,body mass and antler mass
are good indicators of a mature buck if he happens to
be a non-typical and doesn't meet the previous
standards.

Seasons and Bag Limits-
Deer seasons are finalized in June for the upcoming
season. For last season's dates and limits visit MD
DNR's website.
For 1-2 day hunts, you may take 1 trophy buck.
For 3 or more day hunts you may take 1 trophy  
buck and 1 antlerless deer.


Turkey Hunting:

Locations-
We have over 15 properties leased primarily in Kent
County, MD. These farms offer some of the best
hunting found on MD's Eastern Shore. Locations
include wooded area, field area and food
plots of clover &/or standing corn.

What to Expect-
Included in your hunt is a guided  Eastern Wild Turkey
hunt, guided by a professional guide or guides, on
privately leased property.

Seasons and Bag Limits-
Turkey Season is April 18th-May 23rd. Limit is 1
bearded bird per hunt with a maximum of 2 bearded
birds per season.
